ABOUT ME

I am a caring, calm and passionate CBT and EMDR Therapist and Registered Mental Health Nurse who can provide evidence-based psychological therapies to Adults, Children and Adolescents. I hold full Accreditation as a member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), I am an EMDR Europe Accredited Practitioner, and I am registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). As a Certified Full member of the BABCP, I fulfil the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT) criteria for good practice in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and fulfil the Irish Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (IABCP) criteria for good practice. I am enhanced DBS checked and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office to maintain data confidentiality.

My experience enables me to offer effective individualised, psychological/ mental health care. I offer treatment for a number of mental health difficulties and provide a neutral ground to individuals, both children and adults.

My focus is to help individuals recover, energise and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customising a treatment plan.

Level 1 EMDR Child & Adolescent Training (Core) Certificate, Supervision Certificate - 3 day course, Advanced Flash Technique Certificate, Flash Technique Certificate, Certificates for the full Four-Part EMDR Europe Accredited Training Programme in the Theory and Practice of EMDR, Certificate for Completion of the Evidence-Based High-Intensity CBT (HIT) for Long Term Health Conditions Course - CPD Route, Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Post Graduate Certificate in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy / High-Intensity Therapy for Primary Care Mental Health: Improved Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT), MSc in Mental Health Practice, Student Mentorship and Preceptorship Course at Post Graduate M level, Master in Education focused on Emotional and Behavioural difficulties of children, Diploma of Higher Education in Mental Health Nursing with Commendation, Diploma in Education that included a study of the Theory and Practice of Education and a special study of the education of children.
